For the ultimate in passenger comfort ventilated seats direct a cool air conditioned flow of air into the seat itself. The ultimate luxury on a hot summer day.
The TFT LCD cluster was intelligently designed to display a hybrid system gauge which is able to indicate whether the current driving condition is fuel efficient. It also displays the status of the hybrid charging system, including battery level. The Kia hybrid system notifies the driver of energy flow in various operating modes.
Plug in or stream your favourite tunes with a 8" touchscreen for crystal-clear, full-bodied sound reproduction through the 6-speaker sound system. Available on selected models is the premium 8 speaker Harman Kardon™ Audio in combination with the 10.25' Touchscreen.
Slim seat design means more space for rear passengers’ legs. A center armrest includes a cupholder and storage space.
A strong yet soft material that closely resembles leather but is made from eucalyptus trees.
The backs of the front headrests include built-in, shape-preserving coat hangers. The roomy dimensions of the Niro seem to expand with the wide tilt-sliding sunroof. It takes full advantage of the roof geometry, offering a broader opening for light and breezes to get inside.

A curved, unified HD display combines driving functions and the center infotainment and navigation system in one manageable frame. Simple graphics and touch commands give the driver top priority.
The charging pad in the dash, in front of the center console, lets you quickly charge compatible portable phones, wirelessly.
You can get driving and safety information as you watch the road with HUD (Head Up Display) which projects a floating image as you look out the windshield.
Infotainment and climate share the same LCD keyboard. Press the fan/arrow button to switch between climate and infotainment controls.
Sharing driving is made simple with the Integrated Memory system (IMS) taking care of seat position and several other key adjustable Niro features.
Each of two drivers can program a desired stopping height for the tailgate with their digital key. Stand behind the parked Niro, with Open selected, and the tailgate will open automatically.

EPB reduces the effort required to set the park brake right down the simple push of a button. Not to mention freeing up space on the console
Hybrid technology
With the Niro Hybrid models, the hybrid system relies on the electric engine to get you going and during mild acceleration. When you need more acceleration the petrol engine will automatically kick in and will work together with the electric motor to get you up to the desired speed.
PHEV technology
The Niro PHEV can run on electric (EV) mode or hybrid mode. In the electric mode, the vehicle will only use the electric motor and will travel up to 55km on a full charge. The hybrid mode will automatically take over when the battery runs low and will engage the petrol engine to charge the battery and provide power when you need it.
High voltage battery power
The Hybrid and PHEV are both powered by a durable lithium-ion polymer battery. In the Hybrid, the battery generates 1.56 kWh and the PHEV battery generates 8.9kWh.The lithium-ion polymer battery efficiently controls electrical energy and cools more effectively. Safely positioned below the rear seats, the battery comes with a 7 year warranty or 160,000 km (whichever comes first).

Using a front view camera and front radar, FCA can detect a vehicle, a pedestrian, or a cyclist ahead, and warn you, or even brake automatically. It will also brake automatically if it senses the risk of an oncoming vehicle from left or right at an intersection ahead.

PCA helps avoid collisions with rear objects while reversing.
Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist (RCCA)

If there is a risk of collision with an oncoming vehicle on the left or right side while reversing, RCCA provides a warning. After the warning, if the risk of collision increases, it automatically assists with emergency braking.

When operating the turn signal switch to change lanes, BCA provides a warning if there is a risk of collision with a rear side vehicle.

Smart Cruise Control helps maintain distance from the vehicle ahead and drive at a speed set by the driver. The Niro stops automatically if the car in front comes to a halt, and starts automatically if the vehicle ahead resumes accelerates within a set time.
