With the Cummins-powered Aumark S, Foton have re-defined what a light-duty truck should be. Starting with a clean sheet of paper, Foton set out to raise the benchmark for light-duty trucks. No other light-duty truck can provide Cummins’ power, serviceability, reliability and durability. No other light-duty truck can provide the safety and security of a full air brake system (including an air parking brake) and a 24 Volt electrical system, features that are usually the domain of much more expensive heavy-duty trucks.
The Aumark S was tested to the max: durability testing, reliability testing, handling and stability testing on ice and snow, cold weather testing (-27.5⁰C), high altitude testing (4700m) along with hot weather testing (47⁰C). The Cummins powered Foton Aumark S, re-defines what a light-duty truck should be.

Air brakes with discs all-round, together with ABS (Anti-lock Brake System) and EBD (Electronic Brake Force Distribution), provide high braking performance even under extreme environmental operating conditions.
The Aumark S is the only light-duty truck with this full air braking system, which includes the park brake system.
Complementing the air brake system, is an exhaust brake system that provides increased vehicle control and brake savings, by transforming Cummins horsepower into braking power.
These features combine to provide a comprehensive and durable Aumark S braking system, bringing immediacy, dependability and safety to all applications.
Exterior Design
One look at that Aumark S, and you know this truck is anything but ordinary. The Aumark S stands out from all other light-duty trucks with its extraordinarily spacious and streamlined ‘Super Cab’. Large glass areas provide excellent, all-round visibility for an optimal driving experience.
Interior Design
Once inside the Aumark S’s cab you will appreciate and understand why we call it a ‘Super Cab’. The Super Cab is one of the widest in its class, providing a spacious ergonomic environment that places the driver at the command centre.
Controls are positioned in a logical, easy and clean lay-out, designed to enhance ‘the man-machine’ interface, resulting in greater driving pleasure and control. A 2-way adjustable steering column and height adjustable driver’s seat belt provide the driver with a range of comfort options.
Powertrain
At the heart of the Aumark S is one name that needs no introduction: Cummins. The Aumark S is powered by the latest generation Cummins ISF 3.8l engine, which provides 115kW of power and 500Nm of torque. Turbocharged and intercooled with a Bosch fuel injection system, the Cummins ISF engine provides the Aumark S with a premium powertrain that’s not found on any other light-duty trucks.
The Aumark S comes standard with a proven Cummins AdBlue system.
Cummins’ legendary serviceability, reliability and durability are guaranteed.
Coupled to the Cummins ISF 3.8l engine is the ZF 6S 500 6 speed manual transmission. ZF is a global leader in truck transmissions and this component is the perfect partner for optimising the Cummins ISF 3.8l engine.
Enhanced Visibility
With five exterior mirrors (close-proximity, front lower view, wide-angle mirrors), the Aumark S satisfies ECE R46 04 regulations and ensures the driver has maximum visibility.
The main mirrors are electronically controlled allowing you to select the optimum position. Heated mirrors ensure visibility in winter conditions. Generous glass areas (including rear-view window) provide class leading visibility for the driver.
24V Power System
Aumark S sets the standard for light-duty trucks with a 24 Volt electrical system that provides increased reliability due to fewer problems with voltage drops.

In addition to the 6-exterior mirrors, the Auman EST-M comes with a reverse camera as standard, offering another viewpoint for the driver when reversing.
LED Daytime Running Lights
LED Daytime Running Lights allow you to be more visible to other road users. The headlight height is also adjustable from the cab.
Alloy Fuel & Air Tanks
Lighter and corrosion resistant, aluminium is one of the primary materials used for weight reduction. Many truck manufacturers overlook the opportunity to reduce weight in the fuel tanks due to the higher price tag. At Foton, all our trucks come with alloy fuels tanks as standard specification.
The Auman EST-M is also equipped with aluminium air tanks as standard. The customer benefit is a reduced weight and better protection from the elements than a comparable steel tank.
Turning Circle
With a ‘kerb to kerb’ turning circle of only 12.2 metres, the Aumark S provides drivers with class leading maneuverability.

The Aumark C BJ1051 offers users a compact, durable (all steel construction) and cost effective tipper solution.

Box Body
The Foton Box Body comes standard with 3 doors (1 x LH side & 2 x rear) providing ample flexibility for loading and unloading.
Constructed from composite panels (glass fibre reinforced polyester) that provide excellent mechanical properties (High stiffness but low weight). The door frames and door hardware (Hinges & latches) are constructed from stainless steel that provide longevity. An aluminium floor complete with aluminium kick panel provide a lightweight and durable floor finish. Our box bodies come equipped with a tail lifter designed to help you deliver. With excellent payload capability, Foton’s Job Ready Refrigerated body is ideal for both metropolitan and suburban delivery applications.
The Foton Refrigerated body comes standard with a Thermo King SV400-50 unit and 3 doors (1 x LH side & 2 x rear) providing ample flexibility for loading and unloading.
The refrigerated body has inner dimensions of (mm) L: 5040 x W: 1940 x H: 1870 and is constructed from the following high quality materials:
- Side & Front Walls – Outer skin: 1.0 mm pre-painted white aluminium sheet & Inner skin: 1.5mm thermoplastic sheet. Insulation thickness: 100mm
- Roof – Outer skin: 1.0mm pre-painted white aluminium sheet & Inner skin: Inner skin: 1.5mm thermoplastic sheet. Insulation thickness: 100mm
